Centro Clínico de Piel is a privately held dermatology clinic, where a custom made software application manages patient medical records and images. Several improvements were made to this application in order to achieve better stability, performance and portability.

Digitalizing all of its patients related information was an important goal for the Dermatology Clinic at this Hospital, specially pictures, as well as medical records, diagnosis, treatments and related documents. A desktop system named ArchiMed was developed to achieve this goal, in two versions: Home and Enterprise, the latter being the one in use at the Clinic due to its increased storage and security capabilities.
